Hello, hello! I’m Sam. For the better part of a decade, I’ve gotten my hands dirty as a freelance copywriter. I’ve had the fortune of serving a wide variety of clients in varying capacities. I’ve worked on everything from small-scale projects for solopreneurs to full-scale rebrands for 9-figure companies.
What have I learned as a freelance copywriter? I’m glad you asked! In the past 5 years, I’ve gained research skills so extensive I received an offer to do my PhD (which I later declined); I’ve learned to map out and write numerous websites; I spent a year writing a daily newsletter which would keep over 1 million readers engaged; finally, I spent two years dedicated to full-scale brand development for a sustainable denim brand. Working as a freelance copywriter has made me agile and willing to serve each client according to their needs.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: If we work together, how will my copy sound? Over the years, I’ve developed a tone of voice that honours balance. I love to be playful, but never outlandish; smart, but never pretentious; and humorous, but never irreverent.
When I’m not writing, you can catch me reading, exploring the great outdoors, or cooking for my friends and family.
